Obituary of Pearl Clark

The passing of Pearl Viola Clark of Burtts Corner, NB, occurred on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at home. Born on January 5, 1919 in Birdton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Byron and Lucy (Gilbey) Gorman. Pearl was a storekeeper at Jewetts Lucky Dollar Store. She was a member of Keswick United Baptist Church and also the Keswick Seniors. Pearl enjoyed doing puzzles and liked to keep up on current events by reading the newspaper everyday. She was a cat lover. Pearl is survived by her daughters, Jackie Carr (Gordon) of Dufferin, NB and Joyce McCullough of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Shelley Williams (Danny Cleghorn), Tammy Linton, Jason Carr (Sheree Dawn), Cathy Taylor and Fred McCullough; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandson; son in law and good friend, Bob McCullough of Keswick, NB. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Bedford Jewett; second husband, Elwood Clark; grandson, Stephen Williams; granddaughter, Loretta McCullough and great grandson, Auston McCullough. The Memorial Service will take place at Keswick United Baptist Church on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 2 pm with Rev. Bev Jewett officiating with reception to follow. Interment will take place in Keswick Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
