Obituary of Michael Finnie

The passing of Michael Jacques Finnie of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at home. Born on December 23, 1995 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Tim Finnie (Wanda Porter) and Monique Savoie (Warren Nash). He worked at Hilltop Bar and Grill. Michael enjoyed the outdoors and skateboarding. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his brother, Ryan Savoie (Tiffany Boudreau) of Rusagonis, NB; grandmother, Linda Brooks; niece, Madelyn; aunts, Tina Solomon and Cindy Paul of Kingsclear, NB; uncles, Jacques Savoie and Alain Savoie of Campbellton, NB; several cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Jerry Finnie and Eugene and Doris Savoie. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 7-9 pm. A Graveside Service will take place at Staples Settlement Cemetery on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 11 am with Rev. Hollis Clark.
