Obituary of Gloria McKay

The passing of Gloria “Faye” McKay of Mill Cove, NB occurred on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 3, 1950 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Patience (Beek) O’Neill. She was a member of Evangel Assembly. Faye loved cooking for church family and friends; she also enjoyed playing Skip Bo. Faye is survived by her brother, Michael O’Neill (Helen Ypil); chosen daughters, Debbie Kitchen and Tracy MacDonald; nieces and nephews, Krista Howe (Rodney), Ferron McCoy (Mary Ellen), Michelle O’Neill and Joshua O’Neill; great nieces, Anna and Riley Howe and great nephew, Andre Cassie. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Peggy Sleigh. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at Evangel Assembly on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 2 pm with Rev. Duane Collicott officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery.
