Obituary of Mary Jacqueline Ross

The passing of Mary Jacqueline "Jackie" Ross of Boiestown, NB, wife of Victor C. Ross, occurred on July 23, 2016 at the Central NB Nursing Home, Boiestown, NB. Born on December, 11, 1936 in Baie-Sainte-Anne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Mervin and Alice (Cyr) Lewis. Jackie taught school in the Boiestown area for 29 years. She was a member of St. Joachim's Catholic Church. In addition to her husband, Jacqueline was survived by her daughters, Roxanne O’Donnell (Michael), Mary Alice Stymiest (Dennis), Tracey O’Donnell (Terry), Colleen Dunphy (Greg), Charlene MacLellan (Danny) and Jennifer Parker (James); sons, Stephen Ross (Donna) and Gregory Ross (Janice); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Polanik; brothers, Ian and Ray Lewis; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Maurice and Olsen Lewis. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held from St. Joachim's Catholic Church, Boiestown, NB on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 2 pm with Father Joseph Okoko and Father Mark Trzop officiating. Interment will be in Boiestown United Cemetery. A reception will follow at St. Joachim's Church. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
