Obituary of Robert Boone

The passing of Robert “Bob” Henry Boone of Lower Woodlands, NB, husband of the late Lila (Gibbons) Boone occurred on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at home. Born on January 6, 1931, he was the son of the late Hayward and Etta (Plume) Boone. He retired as a woodworker, and worked as both a trucker and woodworker in his early years. He loved gardening, hunting, trapping, fishing and playing cards with family and friends. Bob is survived by his son, Stephen Boone (Wendy) of Lower Woodlands, NB; daughters, Roberta Hachey (Harvin) of Lower Woodlands, NB, Cathy Boone of Fredericton, NB and Wendy Wilson (Doug) of Geary, NB; grandchildren, Jodi Tomilson of Red Rock, NB, Mitchell Tomilson (Cheryl) of Tay Creek, NB, Crystal Gullison (Steve) of Keswick, NB, Rebecca Boone of Woodlands, NB, Corey Boone (Amanda) of Moncton, NB and Courtney Boone (Bobby) of Lake George, NB; great grandchildren, Tristan Humble, Patrick Tomilson, Cameron Tomilson, Jenika Boone, Sadie Boone, Meadow Boone, Tye Gullison, Zackery MacDonald, Kloee Tomilson, Pacee Tomilson and Jasmine Boone; sister, Rhoda Graham of Saint John, NB; brother, Samuel Boone (Maxine) of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his infant daughter, Wanda Darlene Boone. Although there will be no visitation or funeral service, a Private Graveside Service will take place at Woodlands Cemetery at a later date.
