Still can't believe you're gone. This still feels like a bad dream. You'll always be on my mind and forever in my heart loved you like a brother. I'll never forget all the good times we had over the years. Linda and family if you need anything Brent and I will always be here for you.

Where has the time gone my friend?
It seems like it was just yesterday that we were waking up at 6 AM to watch cartoons and eat our breakfast before going to school. You would always have toast with cheese whiz on it and of course you had to have your ketchup. You put ketchup on everything!
It seems like it was just yesterday that we were sitting on your bottom bunk playing Mortal Kombat and Star Foxx on your Super Nintendo. You even had Mario Paint, which I thought was super cool, you always had better games than I did. You even had duck hunt for your original Nintendo.
It seems like it was just yesterday that we were sitting in the big living room chair scratching like crazy because we had the chickenpox together.
Do you remember the times that we went trick-or-treating or all the birthdays we shared together?
Do you remember when we went on a road trip with our moms to the ocean and we found a washed up stingray and I decided to touch it?!
Do you remember all the days we spent bike riding and exploring the outdoors, climbing the jungle gym in the school yard and eating watermelon on the front steps of your building?
What about the time when you came to Ontario and we went the Toronto Zoo?
Man we have so many memories together. I have albums and albums of pictures of us, the good old days.
The last time we spoke you had asked me how parent life was, since I just had my daughter. I wish you had the chance to meet her, I wish she had the pleasure of meeting some one as great as you...she would have loved you bro. But I know that you will watch over her as she grows older. You will never be too far.
I won't say goodbye because goodbye means forever and that's not the case. So I'll say see you later, see you soon.
All my love, Your forever friend and sister from another mother
Bre

Calder was a wonderful young man. The last time I seen him we just chatted up a storm. He was always pleasant and full of life. Even though his life was short it left a great impact on a number of people. He will not be forgotten. Sending my love and thoughts your way.

Ingredients to make an angel:
·Take one set of blue eyes that hold a sparkle and are as deep as the Atlantic Ocean;
·Add a smile that lights up a room and makes you feel like you are at home;
·Fold in a set of hands that are the size of two catcher mitts;
·Pour into a rough and tough exterior with a heart as big as his 6’ 4” statue;
·Add a sense of humour that is contagious;
·Along with the feeling of a big brother to anyone who needed one;
·And kindness and sincerity to every one he meets;
·Add just enough pride to know when to be humble;
·Sprinkle with a motto of “doing something right the first time or not doing it at all”;
·Knead in a love for bowling, baseball and pimped out cars;
·Add a heaping fill of acceptance and non judging;
·And a friend to strangers, family and foe alike;
·Whisk in a passion for creating unique items as a skilled carpenter;
· Along with a zeal for life;
·Add a uniqueness that will make him unforgettable;
·Tuck in a beautiful soul beyond his years;
·Along with a carefree and peace filled spirit;
·Add a generous sense of honesty and truthfulness seldom found;
·Stir with gentleness and compassion;
·Fold in a love for a dog named Doug and a cat name Dwayne;
·And simmer on earth for 29 years.
·Share with friends and family often.
Only one person was entrusted with such precious ingredients, his mother Linda, for she knew how much love to pour in to Calder.
God shared you with the world to show us what heaven’s requirements are, who can blame Him for being selfish and wanting you with Him?
Each day we will remember the model you provided to us and when faced with a difficult choice, we will say What Would Calder Do?
When we have mastered your skills, we will be together again with you.

My heartfelt condolences to all of Calder's family. He has been my client since he first learned to drive and he would come in every month and chat with me and my team. We considered him to be one of our most favorite clients. His life was really taking off, with the launch of his new business and all the exciting things he had planned. We are so saddened to hear of this young life taken so soon. Please know that he has touched us in a very memorable way. He was a very special young man and will be greatly missed.

I am shocked. Just yesterday Calder came into both my husband's and my memory as we were out for our daily walk. We remembered him visiting us when he was in high school. I drove him on the bus to school. He was a special guy, always making people around him happy with his care free but respectful attitude. He used to visit my husband and I often when he was in school on his home made bicycle. We used to laugh at it and enjoyed him coming. We called him "the bicycle boy" and he got a kick out of that. I took a picture of him one day and will post it in the photo gallery. I am very, very sorry for your loss....great loss.
