Obituary of Leo Robinson

It is with great sadness that the family of Leo J. Robinson announce his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on May 13, 2016. Born January 22, 1935 in Fort Fairfield, Maine, he was the son of the Late Roy and Mary Ann (Jacques) Robinson. Leo lived his early years in Andover, NB; then in the Fredericton area. He spent his last 8 years in Woodstock, NB. Leo worked at various positions including NB Power and as superintendent of the Fredericton Mall. Leo is survived by his loving wife Faye Bell, Woodstock, NB; children Monty (Debi) Robinson, Oromocto; Jamie (Janice) Robinson, Barrhead, AB; Leona (Dale) Jones, Royal Road; Chrissie (Bud) Anderson, Kingsley; Robert (Lori) Robinson, Fredericton Junction; Rocky (Sherry) Robinson, Fredericton; Lisa (John) Milton, Saint John; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brother Phillip (Maxine) Robinson, Andover; half sister Priscilla Clark, Presque Isle, Maine; brother-in-law Dr. Lee White, Andover; step-children Brad (Angelica) Bell, Woodstock; Richard (Maureen) Bell, Ottawa, ON; Elaine (Ed) Durling, Hanwell and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Leo was predeceased by his first wife Dolores (Wood) Robinson; brothers and sister-in-laws, John and Dorothy Robinson, Raymond and Katrina Robinson, Gerald Robinson, half brother Everett Cowett, sisters Rita White and Marie Mailman and step-daughter Sheila Fenerty. Visitation is at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Douglas Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 17 at 2 pm with Rev. Peter Moore officiating. Interment at the Seymour Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Seymour Memorial Cemetery, Canadian Red Cross Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
