Life Legacy It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gary on May 4th, 2016, after a lengthy illness. Born in St. Stephen, NB on August 15th, 1948, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Rose (Lutz) Boyd. Survived by his son, Jason Boyd, Oromocto; brother Les (Carol) Boyd, Coldbrook; grandson, Mark Sharpe, Torbrook; nephew, James (Sarah Smith) Boyd, Seabright; niece, Heather (Chris) Jobe, Amherst; great nephew and niece, Owen and Lauren Jobe. Gary attended The School For The Deaf, Amherst and upon graduation worked as a type-setter for newspapers in the Annapolis Valley. Throughout his life he lived in Moncton, Halifax, New Minas, Wilmot and Fredericton. He was employed by Ben's Bakery in Halifax and Berwick Bakery for most of his working life. Gary was an accomplished artist, his favourite medium being oil painting, and was well-known in the deaf communities of Moncton, Halifax and Fredericton, where he will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. Private family memorial to take place at later date. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
