Obituary of Harold Savoie

The passing of Harold Joseph Savoie of Rusagonis, NB, husband of Norma (Gray) Savoie occurred on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 31, 1938 in Juniper, NB, he was the son of the late Edmund and Susan (Voutour) Savoie. He was a member of the Capital Community Church. Harold enjoyed spending time with his family, and loved to go for drives. In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by his daughter, Sharon Rondeau (Armand) of Montreal, QC; son, Jonathan Savoie of Fredericton, NB; step sons, Joseph and Patrick Wilkins both of Fredericton, NB; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; brothers, Edmund Savoy of Saint John, NB and Ronald Savoie (Elizabeth) of Fredericton, NB; nieces, Joy and Amanda; nephews, Mark and Kenny. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Darlene (Spencer) Savoie; brothers, Edgar, Gerald, Clarence and Carl Savoie. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-8:30 pm, there will be a time of prayers to follow. A Graveside Service will take place at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Juniper, NB on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 2 pm with a reception to follow in the church hall.
