Obituary of Frederick Plaster
Life Legacy
The passing of Frederick “Fred” Plaster of Fredericton, NB, husband of Marion (Smith/Fullarton) Plaster occurred on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 4, 1927 in Beaverdam, NB, he was the son of the late Henry and Alice (Davis) Plaster. He liked to play the guitar, camping, bowling and woodworking. Fred could do anything he put his mind to, especially if it was to help someone.
In addition to his wife, Fred is survived by his son, Richard Plaster (Francesca); daughter, Janet Riley; step children, Roger MacKinnon (Georgia), David MacKinnon (Linda) and Elizabeth Ross, Larry Fullarton (Sharon), Craig Fullarton (Dawn), Darlene Brown and Roxanne Hood (Robert); grandchildren, Matthew Plaster (Maryann), Angela Steeves (Jason), Erin Riley and Emma Riley; great grandchildren, Brandon Boutot and Joseph Paul-Plaster, Maya and Emma Steeves; numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister, Mildred Meade and brother, Charles Plaster (Dorothy). Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wives, Norma (Kirkpatrick) Plaster and Grace (MacKinnon) Plaster.
The visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Nashwaaksis United Church on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11 am with Rev. J. D. Kennedy officiating. Reception will follow in the church hall. Interment will take place in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
