Obituary of Wayne Wade
The passing of Wayne Gary Wade of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Betty (Everett) Wade, occurred on Friday, March 11, 2016 at home. Born on February 2, 1939 he was the son of the late Gordon and Mable (Hargrove) Wade. Wayne worked as an electrician with Stan Cassidy, NB Power and the City of Fredericton. He loved motor cycling, being outside, exploring waterfalls and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Wayne is survived by his daughters, Pamela Marshall (Robie) of Mount Rose, NS and Heather Hogan of Keswick Ridge, NB; grandchildren, Joshua Marshall of Calgary, AB, Eden Graham (Mitchell) of Paradise, NS, Caleb Marshall of Mount Rose, NS, Jonah Marshall of Mount Rose, NS and Kathleen Hogan of Keswick Ridge, NB; great grandchild, Josie Marshall of Barrington, NS; brothers, John Wade of Perth Andover, NB, David Wade of Saint John, NB; sister, Gloria Ramisch of Bangor, ME. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his son, Jeff Wade and sister, Wilma Smith.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 7-9 pm and Monday, March 14, 2016 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place from Sunset Church on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 11 am with Rev. Ron Austin officiating. Interment will take place at Scotch Settlement Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Sunset Church or the Canadian Cancer Society. Special thanks to nurse Julie and the entire staff of Fredericton Extra Mural Program.
