Obituary of Cheryl Hood

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Cheryl Paulette (Stewart) Hood on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Cheryl is survived by her three children, Troy Hood of Fredericton, Shawn Hood of Fredericton and Wendy Koenig (Greg) of Saskatchewan; six grandchildren, Kayleigh Hood, Madison Hood, Coady Donahue, Katlyn Koenig, Dylan Koenig and Courtney McLean. She is also survived by her sister, Judy Haines of Fredericton and her brothers, Bob (Sharon), Brian (Cheryl), Danny (Sandra) and Peter (Rose) all of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Glenna (Banks) Stewart. At the request of the family there will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Reception will follow in the Fireside Room.
