Obituary of Alice Dionne

The passing of Alice Mary Dionne of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Enoil Dionne, occurred on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Sussex Health Centre. Born on June 6, 1931 in Tracadie, NB she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Elizabeth (Godin) Richard. Alice is survived by her daughters, Juliet Dalton (Douglas) of Fredericton, NB, and Donna Merrill (David) of Sussex, NB; sons, Romeo Dionne (Gail) and Ricky Dionne (Evelyn) both of Fredericton, NB; daughter-in-law, Carla Dionne of Stanley, NB; grandchildren, Dale, Tracy, Candy, Glen, Sarah, Eric, Johnathan, Stacy, Jaymi, Samuel, Chris and Steven; several great grandchildren; brother, Alex Richard (Noela) of Merrimac, Mass; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Alice was predeceased by her sons, Donald and Leonard Dionne; several brothers and sisters. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 2 pm with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment will take place at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, at a later date.
