Obituary of Gordon Robinson

The passing of Gordon Stewart Robinson occurred on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Collina, NB, he was the son of the late William and Alice (Stewart) Robinson. Gordon worked at NB Power for 30 years in many different positions, retiring as Coordinator of Plant Operations. Gordon is survived by his wife of 65 years, Phyllis (Brown) Robinson; sons, Alan (Kim) Robinson of West Quaco, NB, Paul (Mary) Robinson of Fredericton, NB, John (Nancy) Robinson of Tortola, British Virgin Islands and Donald (Norine) Robinson of Markham, ON; grandchildren, Scott (Rose) and Derek (Jacqueline), Kara, Liane (Shawn) Campbell and Kate (Matt Kitchen), Gordon and Emily, Stewart and Kirk Robinson; great grandchildren, Victoria and Audrey Robinson, Alexander and Henry Robinson and Lena and Jack Campbell; sisters, Marion Jones of Pennsylvania and Pauline MacKenzie (Kim) of Victoria, BC. Besides his parents, Gordon was predeceased by his brother, David Robinson. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm immediately followed by a Memorial Service in York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel at 4 pm with Rev. Kelly Burke officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Due to allergies, family flowers only please.
