Obituary of Carl Anderson

The passing of Carl Samuel Anderson of Burtts Corner, NB occurred on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 2, 1927 he was the son of the late Raymond and Annie (Brewer) Anderson. At a young age he went to live with his uncle, James (Ruby) Brewer. He trucked for his uncle until 1965 when he went to work for the Department of Transportation as an equipment operator for 26 years. After his retirement Carl enjoyed four-wheeling and gardening. He was affiliated with the Burtts Corner Baptist Church. Carl is survived by his sister, Eileen Munroe (the late Elmer) of Oshawa, ON; also his cousin, Bob Brewer (Sandra) of Burtts Corner, NB and their children, Robert Brewer (Margo) and Heidi Thebeau (Patrick) both of Burtts Corner, NB; several nieces and nephews and a good friend Bertie Staples. Besides his parents, Carl was predeceased by his brothers, Vincent and Arnold Anderson. Visitation will take place at Burtts Corner Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 1 pm until 2 pm; followed by a service at 2 pm with Rev. Stephen Hoyt officiating. Interment will take place in Burtts Corner Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
