Obituary of Joshua Cogswell

The passing of Joshua “Josh” William Cogswell of Woodstock, NB occurred on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in Hartland, NB. Born on September 15, 1986 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Allen and Pamela (Mulder) Cogswell. Josh graduated from UNB with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. He worked for Valley Honda, Woodstock, NB. Josh enjoyed life to the fullest, loved people in general and will be remembered for his big smile. In addition to his parents, Josh is survived by his brother, Zachary Cogswell of Fredericton, NB; sister, Jaime Leigh Butler of Fredericton, NB; maternal grandmother, Heather Mulder; paternal grandmother, Geraldine Cogswell; maternal great grandmother, Annie Hargrove of Oromocto, NB; special aunt, Alana Gorman; several other aunts, uncles and cousins; many close childhood and Woodstock friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Bill Mulder and paternal grandfather, Fred Cogswell. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 11-2 pm followed by the Funeral Service at 2 pm with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment will take place at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Oromocto, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Fredericton SPCA.
