Obituary of Larry Lyons

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our brother and beautiful father Larry Lyons at Stony Plain Hospital, Edmonton, AB on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 5:03 am with his daughter Linda Melanson by his side. For the past week Larry fought vigorously waiting to see little Ella his grand daughter and once he felt her little hands and saw her sweat smile his heart smiled as he slipped away to be with his eternal family. Born on June 9, 1954 in Fredericton, NB, Larry was the son of the late Clifford and Dora (Beek) Lyons, formerly of Carroll’s Crossing, NB. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Harding and Lloyd Lyons of Carroll’s Crossing. Larry is survived by his daughter, Linda Melanson of Moncton, NB; son, Roger Arbeau of Edmonton, AB; brothers, Sterling Lyons of Priceville, NB, Dexter Lyons of Carroll’s Crossing, NB, Loren Lyons of Grande Prairie, AB, Luther Lyons of Victoria, BC, Lawson Lyons Hamilton, ON; sister, Elizabeth (Lyons) Munn of Boiestown, NB; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends across the country, but most of all, he was a loyal and generous friend to many. May God be with him! Friends are invited to join in a Celebration of the Larry’s Life on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2 pm at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home Chapel, New Bandon, NB with Rev. Cromwell conducting the celebration. Pallbearers will be Bruce Lyons, Bennett Price, Bedford O’Donnell, Cleve O’Donnell, Paul Wellwood and Allie Kent.
