I am saddened to hear of the loss of Rick, who truly was a great man at heart. We spent many of our formative years together as friends and shared lots of stories. I am happy to know that Rick reconnected with his brother, Jason, whom he loved and missed very much.
My memory of Rick is of a man who always held his head high and who would do anything for anyone. Rick taught me how to face adversity with confidence and pride, and for that I thank him.
I sorely regret that I will never see Rick again. I will think of him often and will honor his legacy.
My thoughts are with his family, his brother, children, extended family, and all his many, many friends. Rick truly made an impact on people from Coast to Coast. He lived and learned from his troubles and passed those lessons on to countless others.
Rest in peace, Rick. Il miss you a ton. Until we meet again, old friend.
