Obituary of Eleanor Beesley

The passing of Eleanor Pauline Beesley occurred on Monday, November 30, 2015 at York Care Centre, Fredericton, NB. Eleanor was born on December 10, 1922 in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edna (Clark) Roberts. She is survived by a son, Rev. Joseph Beesley (Colleen) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Julie Lawrence (Mike) of Moncton, NB, Rachael Muscroft (Mark) of Sussex, NB, Justin (Paige) and Marcus (Abbey) both of Fredericton, NB; great grandchildren, Brittany, Tyler, Dylan, Aiden, Ryan, Abanie, Matthias, Aliyah, Eli, Simon, Jesse and Grace; one great great grandchild, Ava; and her brother, Robert of Saint John, NB. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Rev. Raymond Beesley in April 2002 as well as a sister, Bernice and brother, Armand. Eleanor served faithfully by her husband’s side in church leadership for over 45 years. She was an accomplished pianist and played in church settings on many occasions. Her favourite piano solo was “When They Ring Those Golden Bells for You and Me”. God has taken a faithful servant to be with Him. To God be the glory! A special “Thank You” to the staff at York Care Centre, especially Birch Grove and Dixon, who provided such wonderful care for Eleanor. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 4-7 pm and then at Calvary Pentecostal Church, Sussex, NB on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 4-7 pm. A Celebration of Life will take place from the Calvary Pentecostal Church on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 11am. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Calvary Pentecostal Church Building Fund or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
