Obituary of Dora Lyons

The passing of Dora Jane (Beek) Lyons, wife of the late Clifford Lyons, formerly of Priceville, NB, occurred on November 21, 2015 at the Central NB Nursing Home. Born on April 28, 1928 in Priceville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Grace (Price) Beek. Dora was affiliated with McNamee Pentecostal Assembly. She is survived by her sons, Sterling of Priceville, NB, Dexter of Carroll’s Crossing, NB, Larry of Edmonton, AB, Lorne “Herbie” of Nova Scotia, Lawson of Hamilton, ON, Luther of Vancouver Island, BC; daughter, Elizabeth Munn (Allen) of Hayesville, NB; five granddaughters; six grandsons; eight great-granddaughters; six great-grandsons; of NB; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sons, Clifford Harding Lyons (infant) and Lloyd Lyons; her sisters, Elizabeth Long and Edith Price; her brothers, Sterling Price and Nelson Beek. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, New Bandon, NB on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Miramichi Valley Chapel on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Cole Price officiating. Interment will take place at McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery, Porter Cove, NB. Donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and would be appreciated by the family.
