Obituary of Frank Good
We are sad to announce the passing of Frank Alexander Duff Good. Frank was a connoisseur of Gilbert and Sullivan operettas and choral music. He will be remembered for his lively and hilarious performances with the Fredericton G&S Society of which he was a founding and life member. A gregarious and friendly man, he would often stop and chat with everyone he knew on his strolls through town. Before receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from UNB and his Master of Business Administration from North Eastern University, Frank attended High Mowing School, a Waldorf School, in Wilton, New Hampshire and he would often speak with great love of the time he spent there. Early in his career Frank worked at the New England Merchant National Bank in Boston, Mass., then at Kingshomes Ltd in Fredericton, a family owned business, and he then spent nineteen years with the New Brunswick Department of Transportation in Fredericton, NB.
The son of George Alvah Good and Ella Ishbel Duff Good MD, Frank is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Anne Good (nee Brewer); his daughters, Linnea Good (David Jonsson); Heidi Good; Kimberly Good and Erica Good (Adolpho Scollo); his son, Alexander Good; his grandchildren, Patrick, Nicole and Isaac Jonsson-Good; Douglas and Kathryn Stewart-Good; and Siena and Sabrina Scollo.
Frank, you are the very model of a modern Major General! And you will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Fredericton Music Festival or York Manor is suggested or a charity of choice.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 28 between 1 and 5 at 1401 Lincoln Road, Fredericton. Arrangements are under the care and direction of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
