Obituary of Frederick Fairley
Life Legacy
Frederick Willard Fairley passed away at his home in Bloomfield Ridge, NB with his wife, Rose and son, Jim by his side on Sunday, November 15, 2015. Born August 10, 1938, he was the son of the late Ernest and Mary (Fowler) Fairley.
He is survived by his wife, Rose (Keenan); son, Jim (Lori Simon); granddaughter, Taryn; and brother, Harry (Elizabeth)
Fred graduated from UMRHS, NBCC Moncton (Drafting) and Maritime Forest Ranger School. He and Rose raised two sons and helped raise a special granddaughter, Taryn. His passions were his family, fishing with friends, snowmobiling in the winter and trips to his camp with his family. He was a member of Landmark Lodge No. 51 F&AM, Boiestown, NB, the Luxor Shriners of New Brunswick, a past member of the Board of Central New Brunswick Woodmen’s Museum, Boiestown and hockey coach for his late son, Dean in Campbellton, NB.
Besides his parents and son, Fred was predeceased by a niece, Melanie and nephew, Scott.
Visitation will be held at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church, Boiestown, NB on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 12:30-1:30 pm. Members of Landmark Lodge No. 51 are asked to assemble for a Tribute Service beginning at 1:45 pm. A Celebration of Fred’s Life will be held at 2 pm with Rev. Murray McFarlane officiating. Interment is at Cameron Hill Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church. Remembrances may be made to Cameron Hill Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s choice.
