Your mum was such an amazing lady. She and your dad were the best of friends to my mum and dad, to which I am very thankful. They enjoyed alot of fun and laughter together. (and alot of games of Rage)
Your mother had a very special and caring heart and she was such a trooper through out her journey with cancer.
But its her faith in Christ that was even more amazing. An example of a true servant and believer, who truly loved her Lord.
I know you will all miss her very much and pray that knowing you will see her again one day in heaven brings you much comfort and peace.

So sorry to hear of Marlenes passing. I will always remember her smile and cheeriness. The last time I saw her was with Aunt Frances, Bruce, Hugh and Norman at the Reach with Mom and Dad for a family get together. Many great times at Oak Point and the Reach. RIP Marlene

I remember, as the Christian School secretary back in the day when you children were students, the happiness Marlene brought whenever she walked in. She was dedicated with love for you children; she left a footprint of blessing in my life.

We have so many great memories of our times with Marlene, beginning in the late 60s and ending when we last visited in June. She was a great friend (Harriet always introduced her as her very best friend in the whole wide world and now considers her as her second best friend in heaven, second only to Jesus). We know there will be a hole in our hearts that will contain those memories until we see her again in heaven. "...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

I was saddened to hear Marlene was in the hospital and then to hear she had passed on. The last time I saw Marlene is when I went home to NB in 2007 with my daughter when she was 8 months old. My earliest memory of Marlene is when I was 5 years old and we visited the dairy farm. She was showing me how to milk the cows and she sprayed me. It was funny and Ill always remember her as a kind hearted, soft spoken and always a happy person. Even though my visits were far and few between. I always looked forward to catching up. My condolences to the family.

So sad to hear of her passing but glad she is free of pain and rejoicing with her Saviour. I was privileged to have her as a teacher many times at DPCS and one time as a Sunday School teacher at Cross Creek Baptist. She loved the Lord and loved her students.
Praying for all of you as you say goodbye.
