Obituary of Janice Woodiwiss

Janice Elizabeth Woodiwiss, age 63, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 6th, 2015. Janice was born on February 6th, 1952 in Fredericton, NB. She was the daughter of the late Beulah Sadie Margaret Seymour (Merryweather) & Gerald Seymour. Janice thoroughly enjoyed traveling, dancing, listening to music, and boating with "the happy gang". She was an amazing cook, and she enjoyed spending her precious time with her family and friends. Janice was a loyal employee of Charm Diamond and Crescent Jewellers for more than 30 years. She dearly loved her work, but, more importantly, she valued her staff and clients. Often clients would return to say hello and would be greeted with a genuine hug. In March, 1972, she married the love of her life, Neil Ernest Woodiwiss, and they had two children who were their pride and joy. Janice is survived by her daughters, Janeil Woodiwiss (Bob Strickland) and Erin Woodiwiss Walsh (Elwin); and one grandson, Landon, who she loved dearly; brother, Terry Carr (Edna); sister-in-law, Doris (Woodiwiss) Thomson (Roddy); aunt, Anna (Merryweather) Allen (George); two uncles, Danny Merryweather (Fran) and Bob Merryweather; several nieces, great nieces, one nephew and several cousins. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 6-8 pm and will be followed by a Celebration of Janice’s Life at 8 pm.
