Obituary of Elva MacCausland

MacCausland, Elva Mildred The passing of Elva Mildred (Manzer) MacCausland, wife of the late William MacCausland of Fredericton, NB occurred on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Mill Cove Nursing Home. Born in Fredericton, NB on October 5, 1924 she was the daughter of the late James and Dora (Pond) Manzer. Elva enjoyed painting, gardening, reading and crosswords. She also previously enjoyed; golfing, skating and camping. Elva is survived by her sons; Keith MacCausland (Lorraine) and Stephen MacCausland (Georgina) of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Elva was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers; Allen and Fred; sisters, Nan, Ethel, Mae and Birdie. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 12-1:30 pm followed by a funeral service in York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel at 2pm with Rev. Cora Krommenhoek officiating. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
