Obituary of Annette Dignard

The passing of Annette Marie Dignard, wife of George Dignard, occurred on Saturday, July 04, 2015. Born on January 13, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Stanislas and Hélène (Savoie) Roussell. Annette loved animals especially dogs. She enjoyed family gatherings and baking. In addition to her husband, Annette is survived by her daughters, Jocelyn Duffield, Jeannie Morgan (Jeff), Joanne Poirier (Gerald Richard); sons, Denis Poirier (Tammy) and Wilfred Poirier (Delores); she also held a special place in her heart for, April Parker (Jamie) and George Finnemore (Kara Walton); grandchildren; Nicole, Matt, Lacey, Glenna, Donna Joanne “DJ”, Timothy, Jamie and Jason; several great grandchildren; sisters, Rosée Savoie (Amand) and Mathilda Carol; brothers, Urbain Roussell (Pauline) and Jean-André Roussell (Sarah); sister-in-law, Délisca Rousell; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Annette was predeceased by her infant son, Urbain Poirier; brother, Léo Roussell and brother in law, Harold Carol. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 7-9 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 09, 2015 at 2 pm with Father Monte Peters officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
