Obituary of Arthur Palmer
The passing of Arthur Isadore Palmer of Moncton, NB, husband of Patricia (Day) Palmer occurred on Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on March 9, 1936 in Westville, NS, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Gautreau) Palmer. Arthur worked in the forestry industry as a skidder operator.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Cindy Toole (Keith); son, David Palmer; step daughter, Juliette Day (Carl); several grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister, Winnie Baker and brother, Robert Palmer. Besides his parents, Arthur is predeceased by his brothers, Raymond and Harold Palmer.
There will be no visitation by request. A Private Family Graveside Service will take place at St. Mary’s Anglican Church Cemetery on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 1 pm with Canon Kevin Stockall officiating. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4 are asked to assemble at graveside for a LegionTribute Service at 1 pm. Pallbearers for the service will be Brian McGrath, Lester Seely, Joseph Moran, Shawn Moran, Dale Lyons and Brandon Moran. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
