Obituary of Allison MacBean

The passing of Allison “Gail” MacBean, of Fredericton, NB, wife of Gary MacBean, occurred on June 18, 2015 at York Care Centre, Fredericton, NB. Born on February 12, 1947 in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Michael Mackin and Shirley (Allison) Anthony. Besides her husband, Gail is survived by her children, Tracy MacBean-Fraser (Shane) of Fredericton, NB and Craig MacBean (Chandra) of Charter’s Settlement, NB; grandchildren, Garrison and Alexa Fraser; her sister, Mary Anne Beattie (Rick) of Tay Creek, NB; step-mother, Joyce Mackin of Fredericton, NB; parents-in-law, Douglas and Lorna (King) MacBean; brother-in-law, John (Barbara) MacBean; sister-in-law, Sandra (David) Briggs; special aunts, Joan Tonge and Barbara Williams; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from New Maryland United Church, New Maryland, NB on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at 3 pm with Rev. Kelly Burke officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
