Obituary of Ivan Weaver

The passing of Ivan Perley Weaver of Doaktown, NB occurred on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born on September 28, 1934 in Doaktown, NB he was the son of the late Perley and Helen (Donald) Weaver. Ivan worked at the Irving Mill in Doaktown until his retirement. Ivan is survived by his special friend and companion, Nellie O’Donnell; two sisters, Olive O’Donnell of Doaktown, NB and Carol Russell (Bill) of Orangeville, ON; three brothers, Donnie (Carrie) Weaver, Norris Weaver and Gerald Weaver (Joanne Storey), all of Doaktown, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ivan was predeceased by a sister, Marion Harvie; and a brother Lyman Weaver. At Ivan’s request there will be no visitation or service. A private interment will take place at a later date in Doaktown United Baptist Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
