Obituary of Glenn Henry
Life Legacy
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Glenn Charles Henry of Scotchtown, NB, loving and devoted husband of Ruby (Hatt) Henry which occurred on Monday, May 18, 2015 in Lindsay, ON. Born on March 25, 1938 in St. George, NB, he was the son of the late Charles and Margaret (Till) Henry. Glenn was a member of the Fredericton Fire Department for over twenty years. After his time with the fire department, Glenn went on to fulfill his passion of woodworking by starting his own businesses. His love for the cottage and lake prompted him to move there to live; he also loved his dogs, always having one by his side, including his current dog, Goldie “His Girl”.
In addition to his wife, Glenn is survived by his daughter, Lisa Kendrick (Gary) of Fredericton, NB; son, Shane Henry of Grand Prairie, AB; grandchildren, Laura and Cody Kendrick, Ashlee-Laken and Devin Henry; brothers, Donald (late Reta) Henry, Manfred Henry (Eva) and Gary Henry (Lila) all of Ontario; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Alice Haus and Doris Harman; and special mother in law, Irene “Nanny” Hatt.
