Obituary of Gerald Arsenault

The passing of Gerald Joseph Arsenault, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on May 20, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 28, 1931 in Rogersville, NB, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Julie (Babineau) Arsenault. Gerald previously worked for the City of Fredericton. He is survived by his daughter, Chrystel Arsenault (Jean-Yves) of Fredericton, NB; his sons, Jason (Julia) and Sean (Sarah) Arsenault both of Fredericton, NB; daughter, Trish McKenzie; step daughters, Tracy Mitchell and Tanya Arseneault (Norman); grandchildren, Kevin, Rebecca, Sebastien, Coralie and Jake; sisters, Berta Huska of Toronto, ON and Janette Deroach (Ozzy) of Toronto, ON; brothers, Raymond (Angie) and Freddy Arsenault both of Toronto, ON; several nieces and nephews and best friend, Cuban. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Ella Morse and Yvonne Hogue; brothers, Edgar and Leo Arsenault. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm. There will be no service by request of the family.
