Obituary of Allison Waugh

The passing of Allison Miles Waugh, husband of the late Mary (McAllister) Waugh, occurred on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 4, 1929 in Douglas, NB, he was the son of the late Howard and Jean (Currie) Waugh. He worked for the Department of Agriculture for many years. Allison was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church and the International Order of Odd Fellows. He was a former scout leader and also loved gardening and the outdoors. Allison is survived by his sons, Jamie Waugh (Debbie) of Lyman, ME and Michael Waugh of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Megan, Robyn and Ryan Waugh, Gage Monteith and Jayden Waugh; great granddaughter, Harper; siblings, Melvin Waugh (Jennie), Doug Waugh, Bill Waugh (Linda), Ann Miles and Mavis Kendrick (Bill); sister in law, Evelyn Waugh; brother in law, Raymond Townsend. Besides his wife and parents, Allison was predeceased by his son, Murray Waugh; sister, Leone Townsend; brothers, Lloyd Waugh and Darrel Waugh (Zada). Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, May 10, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 11 am with Rev. Canon Bill MacMullin officiating. Interment will take place at the St. John the Evangelist Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
