Obituary of Marjory Ann Patterson

The passing of Marjory Ann Patterson, of Lake George, NB, wife of John “Jack” Patterson, occurred on Saturday, May 02, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 14, 1934 in Campbellton, NB, she was the daughter of the late John “Chester” and Mina (Gerrard) MacRae. Marjory Ann worked as a nurse in various places around the country. She was a member of the Victor Hathaway IODE. Marjory Ann loved painting, music and going shopping, she also enjoyed collecting antiques. In addition to her husband, Marjory Ann is survived by her daughters, Pamela Patterson of Montreal, QC, and Vicky Patterson of Fredericton, NB; sons, David Patterson (Heather) of New Westminster, BC, John Patterson of Lake George, NB, and Robert Patterson of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jennifer, Nikki, Megan, Alison, John Douglas, and Jacob; great grandchildren, Selphie, Aiden, and Veda; sister-in-law, Darlene MacRae, and several nieces. Besides her parents, Marjory Ann was predeceased by her brothers, George and Doug MacRae. Although there will be no visitation, a Memorial Service will be held at Nashwaaksis United Church on Wednesday, May 06, 2015 at 2 pm, with Rev. J.D. Kennedy officiating and Rev. Brian MacDonald assisting. A Reception is to follow the service. Interment will take place at the Lower Lincoln Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Fredericton Food Bank or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
