Obituary of Gertrude Wilson

The passing of Gertrude Isabelle Wilson of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Vincent Wilson occurred on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 25, 1935 in Sackville, NB, she was the daughter of John and Ida (Buck) Read. Gertrude is survived by her daughter, Debbie Smythe of Fredericton, NB; sons, Mike Wilson (Tara) of Fredericton, NB, Gordon Wilson (Michelle) of Blackville, NB and Greg Wilson (Carol) of Douglas, NB; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley McCarthy of Sackville, NB, Ella Sears of Sackville, NB, Barbara O’Neil of Amherst, NB; Bonnie Blanchard (Roger) of Sackville, NB, Cheryl Read of Moncton, NB and Susan Wheatley (Don) of Edmonton, AB; brother, Ronnie Read of Amherst, NS; several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will take place in Hermitage Cemetery on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 4 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation.
