Obituary of Andrew Johnson

The passing of Andrew “Andy” Raymond Johnson, of Nackawic, NB, husband of Sandy (May) Johnson occurred on April 23, 2015 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, NS. Born on May 18, 1967 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Bob and Jessie (Arnold) Johnson. Andy worked all of his life in the Gas Industry; he was currently employed with Canadian Standards Association as a Senior Special Inspection Gas Inspector. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed barbequing. Besides his wife and parents, Andy is survived by his children, Chris, Matthew and Haley Johnson, Jillian and Nick Michaud and Larsen Harding; his siblings, Tammy Johnson and Robert Johnson (Michele) and his nieces and nephew. He was predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer “Jenn” Johnson. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 2 pm with Pastor Mark Brewer officiating. Interment will take place at Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maritime Greyhound Adoption Program or to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation.
