Obituary of Gertrude McCormick

The passing of Gertrude “Jackie” Grace McCormick of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late William “Bill” McCormick occurred on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 27, 1929 in McNamee, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Verna (Agnes) Clowater. She worked at the Cotton Mill and then as a custodian at UNB. Jackie loved to shop and go to bingo. Gertrude is survived by her son, Bill McCormick (Donna) of Hillsborough Village, PE and her granddaughter, Cara McCormick. Visitation will take at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 11am – 1 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
