Obituary of Carol McGarrigle

The passing of Carol Jean McGarrigle of Fredericton, NB, occurred peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born on September 28, 1941 in Southhampton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow and Pansy (Morehouse) Cummings. Carol was in her element when she was decorating her house and tree for Christmas. Carol is survived by her sons, Laurie and Shane; granddaughters, Cheslea and Amanda; brothers, Clifford (Joy) and James (Eva); sisters, Norma McLellan (Karl) and Lea Cummings; as well as sisters and brothers in law, Theresa Moore, Cecil, Don, and Eldon McGarrigle; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gerald McGarrigle (2000). At Carol’s request there will be no visitation. Internment will take place in the Dayton Cemetery, Douglas, NB at a later time. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
