Obituary of Muriel Lutwick
Life Legacy
It is with great sadness that the family of Muriel “Audrey” Lutwick, 91, daughter of the late Hedley and Gladys Lutwick, announces her passing.
Audrey grew up in McAdam, NB, and enjoyed her early working career as a teacher. After serving in the Women’s Army Core during World War 2, she moved to Toronto where she spent most of her working life as a secretary. She retired to Fredericton to spend the rest of her life enjoying the company of her sisters, and happily spent the last few years at the Terraces on Cliffe Nursing Home in Fredericton.
Audrey is survived by her sisters, Helen Gilchrist, Evelyn O’Brien and Phyllis Lutwick; her brother, Gerald Lutwick, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Laurence Lutwick.
A Memorial Service will take place in York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 2 pm with Canon Kevin Stockall officiating. Interment will take place in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB at a later date. Donations to York Care Foundation or Terraces on Cliffe would be appreciated by the family.
