Obituary of John Wilson

It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of John Clarke Wilson at home in McNamee, NB on April 5, 2015. John was born on February 24, 1944 to the late John "Jack" and Nellie (Price) Wilson. John graduated UMRHS and lived in McNamee, NB. He was currently an electrician with NB Power. He loved to hunt and fish and encouraged his children to enjoy the outdoors. John will be sadly missed by his wife, Florence (Black) Wilson; three sons, John Wilson (Connie) of Astle, NB, Manley Wilson (Carrie) of Porter Cove, NB and Frederick Wilson (Kelly) of McNamee, NB; daughter, Angel Wilson of Boiestown, NB; grandchildren, Samara Wilson, Taylor Wilson, Andrea (Goodfellow) Pugh, Anthony Goodfellow, Amanda Wilson, Jaime Wilson, Carley Wilson, Tylor Home and Bradley Home; great-grandchildren, Josh Goodfellow and Danica Pugh; brothers, Fred Arnold (Carolyn) of Fredericton, NB, Allan Wilson (Lucillia) of Boiestown, NB and Ed Wilson of Doaktown, NB; sisters, Donna Gilbert (Garry) of Keswick Ridge, NB and Paulette Haight (Winston) of Boiestown, NB; aunts and uncle, Douglas and Gertrude Price and Joyce Briggs; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by a brother, Eldon Wilson; and several aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held at Gateway of Hope Assembly, Boiestown on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from the church on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Roger Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in the Boiestown United Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers for the service will be, Barry Stewart, Henry Stewart, Michael MacNeil, Billy Stewart, Brett Black and Ryan Wilson.
