Obituary of H. Mildred Clowater

Life Legacy The passing of H. Mildred “Millie” (Price) Clowater of New Bandon, NB, wife of the late Sanford Clowater, occurred on April 3, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 13, 1920 in Priceville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hartley and Susan (Beek) Price. Millie was a faithful member of St. James the Greater Anglican Church, Ludlow, NB and a lifelong member of the ACW, where she enjoyed quilting and knitting with her friends. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and helped her husband operate Clowater's Grocery for many years. Millie is survived by her daughters, Joan Curley (Harold) of Doaktown, NB, Donna Ward (Raymond) and Kimberly Wiebe (Lance) both of Fredericton, NB; sons, Merville Clowater (Sharon) of Doaktown, NB, James Clowater (Wilma) of Fredericton, NB, Harley Clowater (Debbie) of Hamilton, ON and Arden Clowater (Karen) of New Bandon, NB; grandchildren, Lana Forbes (Ross), Harold Curley Jr. (Shirley), Kathryn Sharpe (Robin), Rob Ward, Chelsea Wiebe, Krista Wasson (Tyler), Jeremy Clowater (Lisa), Gena, Daniel (Naomi) and Sarah Clowater, Joshua Clowater, Katelyn and Kristopher Clowater; twelve great grandchildren; sister, Flora Rice of Saint John, NB. Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her daughter, Paulette Ruth; great grandson, Matthew Forbes; sisters, Jessie Charters, Margaret Munn, Winifred Kenny, Juanita Fletcher, Doris Woodworth, Leola Smith and Louise Maston; brothers, Stanley, Henry and Joseph Price. Visitation will take place at St. James the Greater Anglican Church, Ludlow, NB on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 2-4 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the church on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. Brian Spence officiating. Interment will take place in St. James the Greater Anglican Church Cemetery at a later date.
