Obituary of Vera Peterson

The passing of Vera Theresa Peterson of Astle, NB, wife of the late John Peterson occurred on Monday, March 30, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 7, 1933 in Blackville, NB, she was the daughter of Hartley and Eva Arbeau. She was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church. Vera loved going to church; she also loved her dogs and cats. Vera is survived by her daughter, Angela Peterson of Blackville, NB, Leona Peterson of Astle, NB, Darlene Peterson of Fredericton, NB and Gladys Peterson of Alberta; sons, Dale Peterson and Mike Peterson both of Astle, NB, Paul Peterson (Barb) of Noonan, NB, James Peterson of Coles Island, NB, Steven Peterson (Nancy) of Chipman, NB and David Peterson of Astle, NB; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Marilyn Peterson and brothers, Wilbert and Roger. Visitation will take place at Victory Tabernacle Church will take place on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Victory Tabernacle Church on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 2 pm with Pastor Weldon Mutch and Rev. Harold Jenkins assisting. Interment will take place in Upper Blackville Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
