When I was a boy, I would look forward to the summer's when Gerry and Rons' grandson Chris would arrive for the summer.
The memories I have from those times will be with me forever. Gerry treated me as though I was grandson also. The fresh corn, string beans, potatoes....the breakfasts....our trips to Shediac and Parlee Beach....all made special because of her and Ron.
They both had a sense of class and integrity that I could only dream of having.
She taught me a lot and I think of them both often.
