Obituary of Marlina Anne Gallagher

The passing of Marlina Anne Gallagher of Douglas, NB, wife of Dale Gallagher occurred on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 2, 1945 in Timmons, ON, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Ethel (Kelly) Jones. Marlina was a self employed bookkeeper. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church. Marlina loved to play piano. Her life revolved around family, work and her cat, Holly. In addition to her husband, Marlina is survived by her children, Richard Gallagher (Lynn), Patricia Dupuis (Desmond) and Martina Gallagher (Shawn); son in law, Peter Gillies; grandchildren, Michael, Chase, Ashlyn, Devin, Alanna and Fallon; great-grandson, Jayke; sisters, Cindy Smith and Mary Anne Jones, and brother, Dale Jones. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her aunt, Leona Brandwood. A Celebration of Marlina’s Life will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Everyone is welcome from 3-5 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
