Life Legacy
The passing of Neva Pearl Wallace of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Warren Wallace occurred on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the York Care Centre. Born on July 16, 1920 in Zealand, NB, she was the daughter of the late Gustavus and Eva (Crouse) Wilson. She was a School Teacher, and for most of her career she taught in the Keswick Valley, but also taught in Maple Ridge and Stone Ridge. Neva was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Zealand, NB and a past member of the Anglican Guild and choir.
Neva is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Wallace of Winnipeg, MB; sons, Brian of Fredericton, NB, Stephen (Grace) of Springfield, NB and Bruce (Saundra) of Fredericton, NB; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sisters, Zula Morehouse of Burtts Corner, NB and Avis King of Fredericton, NB; brother, Paul Wilson (Irma) of Ontario; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Neva was predeceased by her son, Melbourne Wallace; sisters, Alda Burtt, Noreen Rowe and Ferne Wilson; and brother, Aubrey Wilson.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 3:30 pm in York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with the Venerable John T. Sharpe officiating. Interment will take place in St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Zealand, NB at a later date.
