Obituary of Robert Lyons

Life Legacy The passing of Robert Earl Junior Lyons of North Tay, NB, occurred at home on Sunday, November 30, 2014. Born on September 29, 1974 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Bobby and Brenda (Aubie) Lyons. Rob worked for Mira Construction. Rob enjoyed wildlife and the great outdoors but his passion was to build and race mud trucks. In addition to his parents, Rob is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Corkum; brother, Andrew (Loretta) Lyons; paternal grandmother, Mina Lyons; niece, Leeanna; nephews, Anthony and Marshall; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Rob was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Antoine and Vickie Aubie; paternal grandfather, Art MacDonald and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11 am with Pastor Gordon Mowry officiating. There will be a pot luck reception at O’Dell Park Lodge following the service.
