Obituary of Fred Brewer

Brewer, Fred Raymond The passing of Fred Raymond Brewer of Burtts Corner, NB occurred on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 21, 1941 in Zealand, NB, he was a son of the late Vernal and Kathleen (Hanson) Brewer. Fred worked for various companies driving truck. He was a volunteer with the Keswick Valley Fire Department and loved trout fishing and hunting. Fred is survived by his sons, Calvin (Shawna) Brewer, Jeff Brewer and their mother, Janet Billings; grandchildren, Colton and Kayleigh Brewer, Emily Brewer, Lauren Gourley; sisters, Shirley (John) Gracie, Betty (Joseph) Cook, Nancy Durling and Bonnie (Frank) Betts; brothers, Lester Brewer, Reginald Brewer, Scott Brewer and Joe (Brenda) Brewer; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Fred was predeceased by his sister, Madeline Fletcher. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, November 27, 2014 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Stephen Hoyt officiating. Interment will take place at the Zealand Community Cemetery.
