Obituary of Anne Corey

The passing of Anne (McIsaac) Corey of Minto, New Brunswick, wife of the late Earl Pearson Corey, occurred on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on April 10, 1927 in Rogersville, New Brunswick she was the daughter of the late John and Marie A. (Richard) McIsaac. She loved the Friday night dances at the Minto Senior Hall and during her active years she enjoyed bowling in the Women’s Senior Bowling League at the Holy Rosary Hall. Anne is survived by her sons, David (Lorraine) Corey of New Zion, NB, Michael (Loretta) Corey of New Zion, NB; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Butler of Corn Hill, NB, Katherine (Ron) Bustard of Sarnia, ON, Julia Cormier of Moncton, NB, Florence Willis, Saint John, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Ella Noel, William McIsaac, Angus McIsaac. Visitation will take place at Hogg Funeral Services (Minto) on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 7-9 pm. A Graveside Service will take place at Newcastle Creek Cemetery Extension in the spring of 2015. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
