Obituary of William Horncastle

William Carl Horncastle (Bill) 62, of Fredericton, NB, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 1, 1951 he was the son of the late Darrell C. Horncastle and B. Eleanor (Jackson) Horncastle. He is survived by his two nephews, Christopher (Katherine) and Jordan (Alissa) Lyons both of Fredericton; his two year old grandniece, Emma Lyons; brother in law, Allan Lyons; uncle Dale Horncastle; aunts, Margaret and Vera Jackson; several cousins. Bill also will be missed by very dear friends, Shirley Martin and Karen Miller. Bill was predeceased by sisters, Darlene Lynn Lyons and Sheri Darlene Horncastle; several aunts and uncles A Memorial service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. Ross Hebb officiating. A short reception will be held in the Fireside Room immediately following the service. Interment will take place following the reception at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be made through www.yorkfh.com
