Obituary of Ella Barton

The passing of Ella Winifred Barton of Derby, Connecticut, wife of the late Weldon Barton, occurred on Monday, September 1, 2014 at the Birmingham Health Centre. Born on December 14, 1923 in Keswick Ridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Emma (Blanche) Gilmore. Ella is survived by her daughter, Gladys (Joseph) Lazurek; grandchildren, Kimberly (Chuck) Kozlowski, Dawn (Engelbert) Andrade, Joseph (Michelle) Lazurek II and Scott (Christine) Lazurek; great grandchildren, Stephen Lazurek, Abigail Andrade, Engelbert Andrade, Isabella Andrade, Caleb Lazurek, Leah Lazurek, Emily Lazurek and Jamie Ziembrowski; great great granddaughter, Janelle Lazurek; sister, Dorothy (Merlin) Price; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Ella is predeceased by her brothers, Franklin, Ralph and Harold Gilmore. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, September 5, 2014 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11 am with Rev. Joe Lazurek officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery.
