Obituary of Beulah Crites

The passing of Beulah Dorothy Crites of Cornwall, ON, occurred on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Cornwall Community Hospital. Born on January 29, 1930 in Marysville, NB, she was the daughter of the late David and Lillian (Chase) Saunders. Beulah moved to Ontario as a young woman, but made frequent trips back to NB to see her family. She was a loving and giving woman with a heart like no other. She enjoyed music and a good cup of tea. Her true passion was her family. She held a deep bond with her many siblings, loved her children unconditionally and held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. She leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. Beulah is survived by brother, Jim Saunders (Irene) of Marysville, NB; her children, Brenda Richard (Maurice) of Marysville, NB, Clifford Crites (Norma), Randy Crites and Douglas Crites (Sue) all of Cornwall, ON; grandchildren, Cari Brewer (Tony), Jill Chenard (Michel), Jaret Richard (Kelly), Laura Crites, Stephanie Crites, Jennifer Crites (Jody), Jason Crites (Jennifer) and Colt Charlebois; great grandchildren, Spencer, Avery, Marissa, Dax, Della, Kurstin, Austin, Nicholas, Jillian and Alexis; sister in law, Lil Saunders; brother in law, Roy Carson; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Thelma Clements, Della Gilmore (Clarence), Madeline Carson and infant, Doris Saunders; brothers, Percy (Ida), Gerald (Muriel), Myles, Byron (Floris) and Osborne Saunders; and her sons` father, Clifford Crites Sr. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 2 pm with Pastor Margaret Gibson officiating. Interment will take place at Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery. Reception will follow the interment in the Marysville Baptist Church Hall – 150 Cowperthwaite Street.
